Your Faction card is a card under your control, so if you must discard 1 power from it if you have no other cards with power in play. (If it wasn't a card under your control, you wouldn't be able to kneel it to pay costs!)

This is listed as Plot deck limit 2 but is actually limit 1 as seen in the image. I only noticed by surprise when OCTGN said my deck was illegal. — mr chipz 2
