The object here is to set up a board state that prevents unopposed challenges from occurring, then getting the Wall in play and grinding it out. I’m playing this deck against a friend who has just picked up the game, so it should give him many rounds to learn the game.

I’m not so worried about pushing through challenges of my own. Going for a primarily defensive approach.

I’ve recently replaced A Game of Thrones with Here to Serve, allowing me to drop some Maester Aemon and/or Maester Caleotte dupes from the deck. Do I drop one of each? Two Maester Caleotte? If I open with Here to Serve, which Maester do I put into play right away?

In their place I could add two Bastard Daughter. Or is there a more valuable card to

Is Jon Snow really that useful in a defensive deck?

Personal notes: Check notes from game with Ray, add here Yoren saved my life in my most recent game.
