Old Gods & The New 627
RAR!
This is an all-out attack Stark deck, bringing in their bannermen the Greyjoys to assist in stealthy raids. It's a low-cost high-character approach that caps out at just 2x Robb Stark at the top end, with Asha and Grey Wind below him at 5 Gold.
HOW YOU WIN
Your ENTIRE plan is to hit the ground running and land military claim after military claim, boosted by Winds of Winter, Winter is Coming and A Storm of Swords to give you three ways of maximising your claims, along with both Throwing Axe and Ice. They shouldn't have many characters, stealth past the ones they do have and just keep hitting them.
HOW YOU LOSE
Start slowly. If you can't get the ball rolling early then you're going to be in trouble.
NOTES
A Storm of Swords - works will Vanguard of the North
Naval Superiority - you've got quite a cheap lineup and can use 2 Gold (consider saving a Kingsroad for this turn if possible). Your primary target is A Noble Cause, then Confiscation (which is easier to predict).
Reinforcements - you're likely to lose some Intrigue challenges coming your way, this helps to mitigate that somewhat.
Gates of Winterfell - 42 Stark cards despite bannering out. Arguably it should be 3x but not sure what I'd lose for it. Maybe the 3rd Arya.
Coming back in to say that initial playtesting with the deck was very positive, and it might in fact be better than Greyjoy Fealty, it certainly seems more aggressive and Arya gives you another important Stealth option instead of having to wait to build Balon and his boat .
I'd say this is a strong archetype to build around and it's definitely one we'll be putting forward into future playtesting sessions.
