Kneel the best, Stealth the Rest.

I took this deck to Worlds this year, not necessarily because I thought it was the best, but because I was familiar and comfortable playing it. I'm pretty sure it originated from a deck I found on here some time ago. I wasn't able to test as much with the Socal crew as I would have liked, so I went with this and ended up doing way better than I expected. I did end up last minute adding a splash of the dominance package and a Winter Festival as that passive power gain is real strong. Apologies in advance as I do not remember everyones name that I played.

Round 1 vs Jon Peters Greyjoy Fealty (or crossing?) 1st turn flipped Calm, said Military, then proceeded to completely forget that Jon had Seastone chair after I did a useless military challenge. Asha died 11st turn, Mel the second and it was GG. Oops. 0-1

Round 2 vs Seth Low Night's Watch Crossing. This was a real good game. Seth got the Wall out early, but I was able to get an unopposed challenge through a few times. Milks on Arry and Benjen were key in the long run since I had so much stealth. I ended up getting Robert out late with Lightbringer which was able to Intimidate Seth's large board. I think the end score was 15-12. 1-1

Round 3 vs Jesse Mariona Night's Watch Wolf. I don't actually remember much from this game, but I did end up winning it. 2-1

Round 4 vs Eric ? from Norcal playing Lannister Winter. This game was right after the lunch break, and Syd and I were talking about how to beat the Lanni Winter jumper deck. We both came to the conclusion of saving your kneel events (Even Handed Justice, Seen in Flames with Mel) until after they use Harrenhal/Hear me Roar and kneel the jumper. They'll lose the card, character, and challenge. What did I do during this game? None of that. Got hit with a Famine second turn after wasting my EHJ turn one and couldn't recover. 2-2

Round 5 vs ? playing Lannister Kraken. This game I felt behind on board presence the whole game, but an early Painted table kept me in it. On the final turn, I had 14 power to his 10 or so. My board was Robert Baratheon holding the line by himself against Tyrion, Jaime, Cersei, Gregor, The Hound, and Theon. I flipped Calling the Banners, go first, and draw a Bastard in Hiding and Rainding Longship. Bob rode the boat to victory. 3-2

Round 6 vs ? playing Greyjoy Fealty. Nothing too exciting here. He got Euron and Balon out early, but I Milked Balon and kept Euron knelt for the most part. The only location Euron was able to steal was a Dragonstone Port, which was funny. 4-2

Round 7 vs ? playing Stark Fealty. Milked Robb twice and kept him knelt. That's about all I remember. 5-2

At this point I'm 90% sure that even if I win the last round that my SOS will not be good enough to make the cut, but I'm going to try my hardest anyway.

Round 8 vs Brandon Zimmer playing Baratheon Sun. Brandon flopped Nymeria and played Bob first or second turn, but I had Mel and about 7-8 Rhllor cards after setup/first draw. My own Bob came later, which served as a pseudo Iron Throne for Painted Table, as he got most of the icon attachments/Nymeria triggers. Ended up going 8 plots, winning with Winter Festival. 6-2

And as I expected, my SOS was not great. I ended up being at the very bottom of the rest of the 6-2 players at 23rd overall place. It was a little disappointing they didn't do a graduated cut, but in the end, my goal was to play games and have fun, which was a success.

Congratulations!

You seem to be a bit spread out with your card choices, like with 1x Maester Cressen, 1x Selyse, 2x The Red Keep, 1x The Iron Throne, 1x Chamber of the Painted Table, and 2x Even Handed Justice. How did the approach work out, and would you cut anything to consolidate with more copies of the rest?
