Mountain, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it. Lady Cersei, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it. Jaime, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it. Lord Tywin, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it.

I'm Tyrion, I am the imp, I got lotta icons but I'll be real. I never need a challenge I like to chill so I drive up claim 'cause my trigger's ill.

My clan went down in the hall of fame 'cause I'm the one who made Tywin pay. Pound for pound I don't need a crown, I'm the one this deck's built around!

Mountain, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it. Lady Cersei, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it. Jaime, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it. Lord Tywin, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it.

Sandor Clegane, of course it's me, I'm better known as The Hound y'see, dropped into play I'll sense the danger, my forced reaction takes me out of range-r.

Got put into play with events in hand, they said "Hear Me Roar" Hound you are the man. To all you birds that wanna see my burn just sing your song now and wait your turn.

Put up a fuss, in the end you'll agree that I really am particularly OP, as I said before I'll sense the danger and my forced reaction takes me out of range-r.

When Stranger and I hit the board, all you suckers will just be floored. I win the challenge then I run away, "HIYOO STRANGER" is what I say!

Tower of the Hand!

Mountain, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it. Lady Cersei, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it. Jaime, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it. Lord Tywin, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it.

I'm Joffrey, my cock in hand finger poppin to the break of dawn, I'm getting off on the happ'nin's at the end of the phase (what's that?) all the Lord and Lady gorn!

You just trigger mountains trigger tower drop the clansman then I betcha drop the clansman again. And you can put me to the test but I never bet against my family so I'm coming with friends.

Good ol' Shagga came down, ambush for free, triggered and lopped off another Lord for me. Timmett bounced in, saw what was happ'nin', he triggered for kill after winning a challenge. Then slam, dunk, Ghosts work and he came back for free that was the perk. I played in Man' SC and did the best* but what I played was just a test!

Mountain, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it. Lady Cersei, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it. Jaime, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it. Lord Tywin, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it.

Instant classic.

Great deck with a great description let down by a terrible pilot.

RenHero 38

So I'm a Lannister newb and all I knew was I wanted to make a deck with all of these cards, but now that I see this I think I understand how everything here pieces together (especially after deciphering the lyrics), but I'm still kinda wondering about the plot choices. Is it basically 'disregard economy acquire characters' and 'treat your characters as yo-yo's, and in case the string breaks three plots get them back'?

Maximus 100

Ghosts of Harrenhal cheese characters back into play after they die to Harrenhal (FFH) end of phase effect. You also have Harrenhal (FFH) plus Tower of the Hand to put a character (cough Tyrion Lannister (LoCR) cough) into play and then return it at end of phase

Why no Reinforcements. If we gonna Cheat we can go a step further. Also why Fealty and not The Lord of the Crossing?

@RenHero, in short I'd go to what @Maximus said. There are probably better versions of this list available on ThronesDB, but what I wanted to do here was focus more on constructive effects and less on aggro - hence no copies of the likes of Put to the Sword and Trial by Combat; Lions Cersei instead of Core Cersei; that sort of thing. In practice I think this version is probably more fun to play than the more aggressive versions, but I can't pretend it's any better.

On the plots specifically, Ghosts fit that constructive bill above, allowing me to drop in a 7-coster with Harrenhal then effectively turn it into a 9 gold plot. Wildfire was a choice over Valar because I knew I wanted a reset, but didn't want to lose all the character-based power on the likes of Cersei, Tywin and Jaime. Building Orders is a "whoops I didn't setup Harrenhal" first turn plot. Counting gives you the cards you need to keep feeding to Harrenhal, or else helps you find it; Close Call is a back-up if you a good character in your dead pile is covered up; and Noble is a "just marshal Tywin" (or occasionally Tyrion) plan B.

@uBaH most of the characters we'd want to cheat in cost more than 5, in short. Fealty is maybe the wrong shout but with lots of expensive loyal characters I wanted a back-up for if Harrenhal wasn't in play, and it's easy economy (unless I need the faction kneel for Moon Brothers or INBAMF).

Fealty is better than crossing imo since the gold on the it's is so low. There will be games where you can't find harrenhal early and that extra gold will make a difference. Reinforcements is another plot that has too low of gold to use, and for a deck like this the second ghosts at harrenhal is likely a better choice: yoi don't care THAT much about anything that doesn't cost 6/7 and the only consistent way characters end up in the discard anyways is hear me roar.

@jcwamma I really like your deck, especially the pttt. That card is really underappreciated and we're at the point where people need to start using it more. I'd also make the argument that with all the expensive cards and lack of consistent discard effects, core cersei would be better but can't argue against lions being more fun. Do you think that this would be better/comparable as a rains deck instead? You lose the ability to wildfire during plots but with chella, that card is so gross during challenges.

jcwamma 2842

I think the Rains version works better going more aggressive, precisely because of Wildfire/Chella shenanigans. One of my aims of the deck was to make it more constructive rather than destructive, and Fealty fit better into that mindset. But I think the Rains version is probably a stronger overall deck.

Lannister 563

@jcwamma hi buddy! Thinking of playing this in a tournament. Few questions -do you think this deck can be still competitive? -have you thought of any improvals lately? -were the mountains of the moon worth it? Thinking of changing them for hands judgement... Thanks :)

Lannister 563

Ahhh and last question! Have u played this against Greyjoy? How was it with all their remove and take control of locations shenanigans?

jcwamma 2842

@Lannister sorry for the delayed response. I think the deck is still very competitive, yes. The deck arguably functions better as Rains, as mentioned previously, but Lanni Jumpers is one of the three decks in the meta right now I feel like people have to have an answer to when they build. Mountains are great - if you were looking for Hand's Judgement spots you could maybe go down to 1x, and 2x Tower of the Hand? But I'd definitely be against cutting them entirely.

As far as Greyjoy go, they can present small problems, but Harrenhal is out of range of Newly Made Lord, and its triggers allow you to make it tougher for them to get unopposed challenges against you (thus preventing the We do Not Sow). Tyrion lessens the need for Tower of the Hand to make the jumper theme work, so you just have to play cautiously. Sea Bitch is annoying, but a) you can Treachery it, and b) they only negate the location for one round, they don't get use of it themselves because of the Lanni restriction on the effect.

The only problem is Barring the Gates. Despite my own usage of that plot I believe it'll be reasonably niche for the time-being, but we'll see.
