I was playing a deck based on Xaro Xhoan Daxos and was having fun with it so I took it to a London SC and surprisingly did well.

I'd love to get feedback on this deck. The plots are the most difficult to choose and I could have really done with a Summons and a Building Orders but not sure what I could have replaced.

There are quite a few cards in this deck that are considered bad but in this deck they synergise very well. Even though I have 3x XXD, I was never too fused about keeping him in play. I killed a double dupped XXD on a wildfire plot and ditched him to reserve in another game.

It's worth noting that Beggar King gets triggered in an usual window and I did miss the trigger at least 3 times - I made a few other mistakes in the games as well but ran well with good match ups and drawing some of my key cards at the right time.

Quite a few games were recorded (Knight of the Blackwater YouTube) so you'll be able to see the mistakes I made and the cool plays as well.

R1 Win vs Miguel Greyjoy Fealty. Crown of Gold Asha and Dracarys! Theon turn one to swing the game my way. Ghosts of Harrenhal keeps me in front after opponents Valar.

R2 Win vs Barry NW Winter I'm facing White Tree choke from turn 1 but I also play my Pyromancers T1 to discard the White Tree - I continue to use the Pyromancers every turn to get rid of other problematic locations which enables my win.

R3 Win vs Ash Baratheon Summer Ash starts with quite a few locations rather than characters. I get my stand tech out early on in the game - Danny, Aggo (especially good vs Summer) and Rhaegal which allows me to stay ahead in the game.

R4 Win vs Calvin Baratheon Fealty Calvin has chud, Stannis and Shireen out T1. I milk Shireen and tears Stannis T1 which gives me a great lead.

Top 8 Win vs Barry NW Winter No Pyromancers in this game. I wiped his board turn 3 but I was only able to do that by using Vaes Dothrak to discard a milk from Dany so I had -1 STR reduction on his characters.

Top 4 Loss vs Isian Greyjoy Rains Euron and Raiding Longship really screwed me over. I didn't draw any attachments in this game which would have really helped. I used a Kings Road on T1 which in retrospect was probably a mistake.

Congratulations to Joe for winning and a big thanks to everyone who played and Leisure Games for running the tournament.

I have no idea how did You do so well without draw.. I really liked Your deck when i was wathcing Your games, but after couple practice gamesi had couple really terrible starting hands and terrible draw.. So without counting coppers its unplayable :(

I've been playing this deck pretty consistently for a while now and my win ratio is something like 90% - draw doesn't seem to be an issue. Dany & Doreah do a lot of work, Littlefinger helps, plus Ghosts & Reinforcements pull from your dead/discard. If you need to replace a plot with CC, I would probably replace Wildfire, but you will need Beggar King in play or you might run into an economy problem.

@Wosho I've never had too much problem with draw or starting hands - maybe it was bad luck, try a few more games.

@lok839 I'm still playing this deck - I can't put it down. It feels like I'm winning 80% of my games (it's probably a bit lower).

My current plots are: 1x Building Orders 1x Counting Coppers 1x Famine 1x Ghosts of Harrenhal 1x Marched to the Wall 1x Summer Harvest 1x Summons

Only had a few games with these plots but I've realised that 4 gold plots can often trigger Beggar King which is awesome.
