Start with Sneak Attack, and keep their board down.

Would you use sneak attack on a Military challenge, in order to kill 2 characters off the bat?

If you can get WotN or Ghost out (Or both), you have a pretty good chance of beating them in a mil challenge. Works especially well if you have a Winter is Coming for that sweet 3 claim.

Cool... quite different from the Stark deck I run, but I like the idea and would like to se it in action. My Stark Deck called: The Pack Survives!, it's up there somewhere. I only just got round to submitting it. Its a Crossing Power grab using less characters, more dupes

Nice, yea, I tried to focus on a deck that had lots of 'No Attachments' cards, since most of the group that I play with run attachment heavy. Lady and Nymeria are good for Catelyn and Sansa, but are mostly there to buff the Direwolf numbers for WotN and Pups. This is an interesting combo deck too, since WotN is a strength reducer, and Grey Wind can kill low strength, so if you have enough wolves out (Which is easy in this deck), you can run a mil challenge, stealth a high strength character to reduce their strength to 1, kill them with GW, and then play Winter is Coming for an effective 3 claim challenge (1 claim + Winter + GW's kill). First snow and Wolfswood makes an interesting late game combo too, since you can pop all the pups back in after, and also get Summer to get her ability back.

its a vicious deck... lots of kill. I'd like to try it down the line. I'm still new to the game. And as much as I like to kill characters, I'm currently going for a quick token grab using the Power challenge on crossing... throwing in Superior Claim and using dupes and body guards to fight off Valhar. I'm looking to finish the game before my opponent can get settled.

It just goes to show how amazing this game is really... all the different approaches, even within the same factions ;o)

Where do you play? I play in the Uk

Yea that's definitely a good strategy, this deck isn't always the most successful, so your deck is probably a better approach, I just made it because it's fun and unexpected. I play in northeast USA.

Yeah, I like the idea of creating fun decks. I've played around with a Tully deck, but it needs a few more characters. Funny how the Aryn's and Tullys have been left out of the Factions, these are both Great Houses, the Arryn's being Wardens of the West, and the Tully's being the Lords of the most central and fought after region in Westeros History. But at the same time, the Arryn's have kept away from all conflict and the Tully's (as a Southren House) align with Robb and the Northstraight away!
