This deck was top rank before the cut in a Seattle WA area SC today.

I had guessed I'd be playing a lot of The Iron Throne+Chamber of the Painted Table, and I faced it in 75% of my match-ups. Instead of building heavy location hate (which was my first thought), I decided to try to outpace it to 15. Few things seem faster than tri-con The Blackfish with Riverrun. In all but one match the deck was able to do that.

A couple notes on atypical card choices.

Since Bran Stark doesn't have a INT icon and is not a Tully, I decided not to run him. I also wanted Catelyn Stark (WotN) instead of Catelyn Stark (Core). This was going to leave me without the all-stars of Stark's "Mother May I?" permission package.

However, I still wanted to have a chance to cancel a game swinging event. The Pack Survives provided that opportunity. It was nice that my opponent didn't know the cancels were coming (like with Bran) and that it cost 0 gold. It was even more effective in an earlier version of the deck that ran more direwolves. However, anytime I played it today, I knelt 2 characters. There were times when I had to let an event go through, but it felt good to know that if I had 2 standing characters I wasn't going to lose on a single devastating event. Since I'm running only 1 direwolf now, I think 1x Bran 1x Pack would be better.

The deck's worst matchup is one that relies on non-terminal negative attachments. Arya's Gift provides some relief from that. Pro-tip, move Milk of the Poppy to a low STR Sansa Stark (WotN) if you need the 4 STR more than the insight.

Roose Bolton was very strong in all the games where I found him. He killed Tywin in my first game (thx Needle!) and was brutal after Wildfire Assault triggers too. I'd love to find room for a 2nd copy, probably going down to 2 House Tully Septon. If you wanted a tad more defense, swapping out Littlefinger for High Septon will give those chuds even more value.

Have fun watching the Rains of Castermere fall down on Riverrun. Thanks to Kody and Uncle's games for a great day of Thrones.

I dont think I would ever go below 3x Winterfell Steward in a Stark deck running the 7 cost Catelyn

@GIMMETHEL00T Thx for mentioning that. It looks like I forgot to update this to my final plotline. I substituted in Fallen from Favor, Summer Harvest, and Valar Morghulis for Calm, Close Call, and Song of Summer. With the higher gold on those plots, I didn't need the 3rd Steward.
