Rezaaba 17
This is the deck I used to win the Treachery at Qarth event in Kuala Lumpur (16 players). My matches:
- L vs Targ Fealty
- W vs Bara Fealty
- W vs Martell Rains
- L vs NW Fealty
My SOS was good enough for me to squeak in in 8th place on tiebreaks. Next up:
- Quarters W vs Tyrell Watch
- Semis W vs Tyrell Wolf
- Finals W vs Targ Fealty (my first round opponent)
The build is just what you'd expect from a typical Lanni Rains deck, but I added 3 copies Tears of Lys to address the lack of respect for Intrigue challenges. I found that vs. Rains, most opponents were content to just defend to not trigger Rains which meant that they had to contend with a Tears on a dude.
If there was anything I'd change to the deck would be the plot deck. I really want to try fit Time of Plenty or Close Call in there somewhere, probably replacing The Long Winter because of its low reserve. I'd also probably trim down the 2 Tower of the Hand and cut one for another Small Council Chamber.
