Hi guys, this is my deck from Prague Regional - http://thejoustingpavilion.com/tournaments/3657
This deck is very variable. It can be fast but it's not a rush and it can win in the late game, but it's not a control ;) The idea is not a new thing, but this build is mine.
Big Lords with renown cas speed the game, especially with Margaery Tyrell (AMAF). All Men Are Fools is another winning condition with many Lady characters. Last expansion gave a huge bombs to this concept, "Lord Renly's Ride" is a gamebreaker with Roose Bolton or Randyll Tarly. Great Hall is a better economy option than The Kingsroad.
Lovely side combo came in 5th round and made a game for me (Jeyne Westerling+Roose Bolton+"Lord Renly's Ride")
In Valar meta there was a time when many people (me as well) put aside Milk of the Poppy. But with a heavy proctection of important chars it is turning again to the autoinclude card!
Sadly I lost against Targ - Winter in the TOP8 because of a horrible starting hand (before and after muligan, there were only 5+ chars and one eco). So after expected Marched the game was over ;(
Have fun with this, its very versatile and it woked perfectly for me (except the quartefinals...)

Hi! Thanks a lot! I will try to answer you questions ;) First of all the Arbor case.. Well, I used it months ago in Tyrell/Kraken deck but I think this eco card is very tricky. You need to put it in setup/1st/(maybe in 2nd round -against control) or it will become a blank card. If it's not in setup, It will be a 4 gold useless card for a one round. Wasting 4 gold against fast meta can be critical. It must be 3 times in a deck and I don't want to draw this in later turns. The economy benefit of The Arbor is lowered now with Great Hall. In current meta there is a location hate also. Many Put to the Torch etc. Well Milks and Cravens is an issue against NW but I think no need to stress about. My only lose in swiss was against NW. He had plenty of luck, The opponent gave me Craven on Arya and then 3 Milks on Eddard, Marge and Randyl. When Edie died, he used Isle of Ravens and in drawing phase he get the milk back so Briene was another target. Even with these milks I lost only 13-15. But I could win that.. Sadly two The Hand's Judgment in one round canceled "Lord Renly's Ride" and All Men Are Fools. Pulling Strings can copy used Confiscation, thats my only possible attachment remove. But maybe Ser Jon Fossoway can be replaced with Rattleshirt's Raiders but I like him. He can gain an additional Renown and he has nice icons. Last Hearth Scouts can be switched too but they are here as a possible counter to the Clansmen and House of the Undying ;) This deck has lots of win conditions. Milked even dead Margery is not a game over ;) All changes are bounded to the current meta. One more Randyl can be nice, because Renlys ride is awesome with him. But with lots of resets I don't want to draw dead chars.. Only ladies need a protection ;) Lords can be easily switched depending on circumstances ;) The next chapter can bring some cool cards but right now it is realy stable IMHO. If you have any ideas how to improve It, please make some suggestions! |
Hello there and congratulations for the results. I have some question for u. 1 - Did u have any adjustment post tournament for the deck? Some changes? 2 - No Arbor? Why? 3 - No hate for the attachment. Milk and Craven did not ruin u're plan? Because here in Italy why play a lot of attachment. Ty so much for sharing.
