No fast eddie?

I've been messing with a build like that for a bit but realized that the econ hurts especially in the later plots. How was it for you?

TeamBolton 78

@korlash it's there

@bobbyquak92 economy might be an issue, especially if you play more than one pleasure barge in the early game. I think great hall will be perfect for this deck

Thank you for sharing this awesome list.

You mentioned adding great hall, what would you remove for it? Also thoughts on Lord Renlys Ride? Surprise intimidation seems pretty solid.

TeamBolton 78

@agerjag probably kingsroads and test from there. renlys ride is very powerful, but i'm not sure what to cut

Ive been testing an old version of power rush Tyrell with it(Renlys Ride) and great hall and have been pretty impressed so far. This builds looks really good by the way, very impressive :) Thanks for the fast response.

Congrats! You should add The Arbor instead of The Roseroad if you replace Kingsroad by Great Hall. "Lord Renly's Ride" is very awsome. Try it! You wouldn't be dissapointed. :)

@TeamBolton what was the motivation for a full 3x Wards and what were you hitting with it?

Was Marched strong enough to need 2? how often were they down to 1 character?

TeamBolton 78

@TrueJedi it's just a card that me and my teammate really wanted to play going into the tournament. Not sure if it's optimal in this build, or even needed, because other tyrell wolf did good and weren't playing any copies. I personally hit impactful characters all day, like theon, davos, flicker bannerman or catelyn stark, but we played it mostly for the tempo and easy 2x1. I also think it gives a small edge in the mirror match, wich was important for us. For that reason we run both marched so we can use it right away on a warded character, not running the risk of getting hit by confiscation.

@TrueJedimarched+ward is really good. The martell deck that won the 120+ person tourney did that as well. Even if they confiscate you can just choose march to happen first. Also both are just great on their own.

@TeamBolton Another question. Ive been playing a new marge deck and I usually get great value out of offensive valor due to high dupe counts and marge. Whats your reasoning for not including? actually a run down of plots in general may answer many of our questions.

Also in followup to previous questions Lord Renlys Ride with standy randy is insane when going first. Especially if you have something decent in dead pile. Even a chud is fine though. Should be called Lord Randys Ride... though that has its own problems :D

@agerjag i think if you play valar you must play The Arbor, so you can have an economy advantage aswell. We decided we wanted to be mostly a rush deck, so valar our own characters with renown (even if they got replaced with margaery) was not ideal. So no reset this time.

Summer Harvest was our primary opener. You can hit Pentoshi and got nuts, or get hit by Varys riddle and lose on the spot, but trust me, the first one happens way more often. We also wanted to go second so we could ward something.

Trading with the Pentoshi was our alternative opener or if we really wanted to play 2 big characters in one turn, only if we can protect both from valar. Also you can do the trick of play marge, hobber to fetch a copy, and dupe her.

Pulling the Strings a very flexible plot and one of the best in the game. You can hit some search plot (Summons, Building Orders)), another Marched to the Wall, Confiscation and the best of all: Counting Coppers. Always play it in Tyrell.

Confiscation Very necesary atm, not only you can hit milks (specially on marge) but bodyguard, cravens or any random attachment your opponent is playing. Unless we get some good neutral attachment control i thinks it's mandatory.

Time of Plenty was our last option to open with if our hand was very very bad and we wanted cards, also functions as a late game plot were you can hit a big character and play it right away

Marched to the Wall times two. Ward combo, also you can get free wins against bad setups. No one really expects the second one, so they can make a suboptimal marshalling and get destroyed next turn. Not much to add here.
