The deck is called "The Red Hairing" because Melisandre (Core) was used as a diversion tactic, and it worked. When opponents see her, they try to control her, meanwhile I focus on the real objective of the game: winning. The deck tested very well, winning 75-80% of its games, and did very well in general against targ fealty, which I expected lots of at nationals. Stealth and kneel is strong, but bested by jumper decks and solitaire decks (my worst loss was against the nationals winner, who found 3 kravens and 2 marriage pacts :/). Congrats by the way to Seth but I will not apologize for being salty in my loss to you ;).

Anyways, I just wrote a whole report and my computer crashed, so check the deck out for yourself. Enjoy!

Haha Caleb no need to apologize - it was a pretty sweet draw for me. I wonder what was going through your head when I told you after the game that you were unlucky not to get Mel going lol. Good to meet you and I hope we get to play again at another event.

@iaan I had the following games:

Targ Fealty - WIN Tyrell Lion (Tinder Marge) - WIN Stark Watch (@supercuts nationals winner) - LOSS Tyrell Crossing - WIN Targ Rose (nationals runner-up)- LOSS Targ Fealty - WIN Targ Crossing (jumper deck) - LOSS

The jumper deck was a bad match-up and also I saw zero stealth characters to activated marya, whom I had duped with balon on the table. The Stark Watch deck I couldn't get my unopposed to go off to trigger we do not sow. And the Targ Rose I just wasn't expecting. Got wrecked by lord renly's ride.

This deck (with three different plots) took 4th place in our Regional (22 players; link). Marya is pretty sweet!

@mplain nice! I played with rise of the kraken in earlier versions of the deck but too many times I ran into the mirror match and lost initiative to another rise so I switched it to clash of kings for the initiative. I'm on the fence about varys' riddle but I think it takes up one of the wildfire slots and the double wildfire is one of the most important components--keeping the board small and baiting your opponent into a false sense of safety before flipping the second one. Also I didn't play valar because there are too many saves and too many other players running it. I mostly waited for the opponent to valar themselves thinking I was about to flip it and laughed my way to the bank.
