An updated version of my runner-up deck from the War of the Five Kings. I haven’t tested the changes all that thoroughly yet but I think its a good way to go with things. The plots are still a bit up in the air and changes may follow. Here’s a link to the original deck: http://www.cardgamedb.com/index.php/agameofthrones2ndedition/a-game-of-thrones-2nd-edition-decks/_/a-game-of-thrones-2nd-edition-decks/we-do-not-banner-war-of-the-five-kings-runner-up-r208

First of all congrats! It is surprinsing to meto see only 1 seastone. I think this location is what greyjoys need to be top tier. I know you have support to the people, but is not that easy to trigger. |
Well firstly, I think Greyjoy is already top tier. But secondly the one copy of seastone chair is because while the effect is very powerful it conflicts with fealty and is hard to trigger than you would think. That being said I am currently considering cutting an Iron Fleet scout for a second copy so we’ll see how that goes. |
I know what you mean. Weenies can ruin your unopposed. Talking about if greyjoy is tier 1, based on Annals of Castle Black: representation in cut: 33.7% targ, 25.5% Bara and 15.3% Greyjoy. For me its clear that Targ and Bara are far better, generally speaking. I understand that your opinion about greyjoy due to your great personal results. I expect, that does results will change with seastone, because is the kind of character control that greyjoy need, far better than ptts. |

Thanks for the decklist Regarding your last comment, I don’t think Iron Fleet Scout should ever be cut from GJ. It is so powerful. Will be looking for updates on the podcast! |
Out of curiosity why not include 1-2 The Kraken’s Grasp in the deck to help with unopposed? I’m a big Greyjoy fan/supporter for the game so always interested in iterations of this deck. |
For this particular deck, I think the events I have are better choices. I used to really not like Kraken’s grasp and I’ve come around on it a bit lately but I still think that there isn’t room in this deck. |

Yes indeed, -1 Asha -1 Drowned men +2 The Reader. I’ve been toying around with some other Greyjoy builds that better utilize the “go first” tech. Those should be up soonish, I’m hoping to try them each in a few upcoming tournaments and I’ll report back on how they perform. If you find yourself struggling with unopposed challenges too much then -1 Fleet scout, and -1 We do not Sow for +1 Krakens Grasp and +1 raiding longship. I’m personally not a fan of that though because they force you into going first and this deck likes to be able to choose which order to play in based on board state. |
