Kodo 8

A fun and kinda simple tinder deck that i have been playing since tinder became a thing. Overall the deck is very reliable and capable of winning matches even without seeing the Arbor or Margaery, mostly thanks to the Great Halls and strong Lannister cards. The main weakness is the economy, no economy and the games become way harder but often still winnable.

The decks has an advantage against almost everything and only some NW and all Greyjoy are problematic and your only real advantage is political disaster. In hindsight Arbor Vineyards might have been a better choice then Kingsroads to try counter the Euron steal your shit shenanigans-

The Tonrey:

Loss against - Jakob Hultman - Greyjoy Reins

Worst possible match up and it was not even close. However, in casual play earlier i have been able to put up good fights but i have never beaten Jakob with this deck. In the game, Jakob knew to hit my economy and played nightmares my great hall turn one and then the Euron train got rolling and i was out valued/played and chanceless.

Win against - Lukas Andersson - Targ Fealty

Kinda of an perfect match up. In the end it was the most one sided match of the day in part due to almost perfect drawn and more janky/fun Targ deck.

Win against - Peter Lundström - Targ Rose

A little bit harder then the regular Targ match up however i had very good draw and a perfect Arbor game (the only of the day) and Margaery ruled the board from turn one. A unwinnable position for a Targ deck against me.

Win against - Emil Raneklint - Lanni Rains

Our infamous Lanni rains player, normally a in my opinion, a strange match up that i never had the chance to test. Although it was a one sided game in part due to my deck doing exactly what it wanted and his doing almost nothing including missing two building orders.

Win against - Roy Engebakken - Targ Fealty

Another Targ, really lucky to doge all the Greyjoy but this is a strong player and a really good deck. However, i got the Gregor/Lancel combo going from turn one and no burn can deal with that. A few turns later Margaery came in and locked the game.

Top 8 - Loss against - Christian Karlsson - Greyjoy Dragon

The streak of dodging Greyjoy was over and the game was over quickly. I made some key mistakes but in the end it didn't matter since i was behind from the start. My opponent also got to setup a perfect valar whiping my entire board and rekt my economy, I could not recover from that. Even if I got my game roiling I think I would have lost it in the end due to the share value of Euron and the ability to just destroy my economy.

A good fun day of games and i happy that i had the change to get some success with the deck before projected meta change of Oberyn's Revenge where i think this version will struggle abit.
