I piloted this deck to the top 8 of worlds, ended up going 7-3 and losing to another Greyjoy rains deck that went on to go into the final of worlds.

I ended up putting in a Supporting the Faith to combat the flea bottom meta with all the jumping they did. Also, it was designed to help stop the events of other players that would have won them the game. It stopped many nightmares that would have blanked my renown characters from winning the game. Although it didn't go up a hyper viper deck, I expect that it could have been quite devastating to it, or any deck that heavily relied on gold for playing events.

Milk of the Poppy was a great card in the meta, stopping some very powerful characters from doing damage. Helped prevent people from utilizing the full power of their decks during this tournament.

Hi! Thx for sharing your deck and congratulations to your result!

Interesting plot choices. Not sure about marching orders. Isn't it a Tempo hit? I see the advantage, you don't give cards or gold to your opponent. Hm.. Have to trie it.

3 milks sounds good :-) gives more control

Card draw was enough with coppers and one reader?

Cheers

Marching Orders worked like a charm... If i was able to trigger "The Rains of Castamere", the reserve on it is pretty bad, but I would only use it after the board was reset by a Valar Morghulis from my opponent or if i was struggling getting characters out, it helps get some big characters on the board, as well as not giving my opponent gold or card draw.

As for card draw, I didn't really see The Reader at all since it has only one copy in my deck. The main card draw was counting coppers, which I could play, and then if my opponent played it as well I could Rains into Varys's Riddle to give myself some card draw. Also the games usually ended to quickly for me to have an empty hand, I rarely had a problem with top decking cards to put into play.

Thanks!

I dont see any plot openers... Marching Orders and Supporting the Faith has 4 reserve so its bad to be opened with it. In other side Summer Harvest is very dangerous as first plot.

Marching orders isn't a bad opener if there are some Iron mines out on setup. The problem with Greyjoy is that even if SH gets hit with VR, they can usually still keep a healthy board state. Having that Marching Orders to play right after is a big help if that happens.
