This is the deck I fielded at the Red Saturday tournament in New York City on 11/28/2015. I finished 2nd of 48, losing to contributor PulseGlazer’s Lannister Rose deck (congratulations again!) I’m not entirely satisfied with the final list, but it performed well and I was quite pleased with my finish, especially given that this was my second Thrones event of any kind. Its a pretty standard build, with early aggression, a variety of good removal, and powerful long-game in Daenerys and her scaly children. The main change I would make is mixing up the plot deck - I added a second Filthy Accusations over Wildfire Assault at the last second, but I ended up missing the added board clearing effect, particularly in the finals. Going forward, I’m going to be experimenting with a banner, probably either Lion or Rose, to trim some of the weaker characters from the list: Unsullied are serviceable but unimpressive, and Khal Drogo and Illyrio are narrow enough that I’ll probably only want one of each.

Great showing n thanks for the Dracarys nightmares. I like Unsuliied more than you, but think Drogo is wildly overrated, too. |

Could you please be so kind to explain the use of Varys in this deck. |

This build is designed to be either aggressive or play to a longer game centered around daenereys depending on the matchup. If I have a slower start or if the opponent manages to flood the board with characters, I like having access to a board reset. Vayrs can be found with summons, so ideally I can find the singleton in longer games when he’s needed. Indeed, Varys would have been crucial in the finals…. Except that my opponent had Treachery. I still like Varys in the deck, although I would supplement him with wildfire assault in the future. |

I’d say that Khal Drogo is worth it just for the amount of effort opponents will use to shut him down. He is number one milk magnet in my meta |

Khal Drogo wins games. Either early to eat the hate or wipe their board with double military aggresion, or late after the have dealt with Daenerys Targaryen as an extra threat / wincon. |

Congrats on the finish, and thanks for sharing your list! I’ve seen a lot of different plot decks with Targ Fealty. Have you tried double Marched yet? |

My experience with Unsullied is quite different. They sunergize so well with Daenerys Targaryen, Dracarys! and Plaza of Punishment! -1 (or -2 if daenerys) STR to defending characters isn’t something to scoff at.
