I placed top 8 at Canadian Nationals with this list, going 4-2 on the day and losing in the cut to eventual champion Jake Platt. Not a ton to say but I'll outline the general strategy and some card choices:

The Prince's Plan is probably the best recurring event. It's the easiest one to get back and late in the game it's bonkers. Making Knights of the Sun a 10 strength tricon is never not fun. Also, obviously, helps you get key Rains triggers or defend important challenges.

Doran's Game is your closer most times. Usually you want to defend early, maintain board state and accrue 6-7 power by plot 3 or 4. Then drop Ricasso, bestow 2, trigger rains for that extra used plot and voila, you have a 6 power game trigger on turn 4. Add in renown on the The Bastard of Godsgrace or Knights of the Sun and close.

His Viper Eyes and The Hand's Judgment counter early threats and get rid of their HJs for your big gamebreaker turn. Milk of the Poppy is for Mace and other annoying bigs, and Attainted makes triggering Rains easy.

Begging Brother is a cure-all that I'm currently hard-pressed to leave out of any deck. Just too good, and decent icons/strength.

Only 1 of for the 5-drops because I'd prefer to go wide than draw dupes. If I get valared turn 2 I probably didn't have dupes, so I don't want to draw dead.

I almost never open LSF. Usually Calm is the opener, and LSF is the closer, as you'll want plenty of gold to play out Ricasso and any other event shenanigans you are planning.

I don't remember a ton about the individual games since it was 4 days ago, but I lost to Tyrell Rains who got guys too big and reloaded after Dohaeris, and my Your King Commands It didn't slow them down because Renly and Queen Marge were both on the table. Also lost to a really fast Lanni Crossing build that ended up making top 4 - I just couldn't get to my later plots and was on the ropes all game.

The deck is probably done for with the box dropping, but new exciting ways to abuse Ricasso and drop your Gamebreaker are on the horizon with The Wars to Come and other fun orange cards.

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoy and give it a try.
