This deck is not built to be competitive, but can be played semi-competitively. It is also fun and themey!

I am still an ardent supporter of the core set card Joffrey Baratheon (Core) and the development team for this game keeps giving me reasons to play him!

Strategy

This is quite a simple playstyle, play Joffrey Baratheon (Core) and Margaery Tyrell (AMAF). Then, crown Joffrey with The Boy King.

Once you have the King and Queen out, protect them with bodyguards and duplicates, you then focus on playing cheap, efficient Lords and Ladies characters. Our main aim here is to get them killed or kill your opponents Lords and Ladies. Rack up the power on Joffrey Baratheon (Core). He should be able to get 4 a turn with his crown, as this allows him to turn even chud blockers from both sides into a .

Margaery Tyrell (AMAF) also has renown and can utilise her str 5 and icons flexibly. But it is her ability we want the most. Once our cheap Lords die and we gain a power on Joffrey Baratheon (Core), we can replace them with a superior one such as Ser Gregor Clegane or Renly Baratheon (FFH). Then retaliate in kind.

Plots

Wildfire Assault is our reset, as it can not be saved and allows us to aggressively trigger Joffrey Baratheon (Core) and Margaery Tyrell (AMAF) at the start of the round and can easily close a game.

The King in the North is our lockdown card. Once we have crowned Joffrey, he locks down our opponents board and can shut off any abilities they were planning to deal with him that round.

Pulling the Strings is our mid to late game plot, where we can turn the opponents used plot pile against them and use it to our advantage. Remember Trade Routes has the kingdom trait if you are struggling on economy!

Time of Plenty is usually our opener card, it allows us to dig 1 card deeper if we lack any of the main two characters. Has a decent gold value as well.

Confiscation Unfortunately Milk of the Poppy and Ward can really upset the deck. We need them both gone ASAP if played on any of our main characters.

Trade Routes is our mid economy plot, some of our characters can be expensive and once the opponent's reset is out of the way, we want to overpower them with our Lords and Ladies and renown.

Close Call is our fall back card if one of the two main characters dies. It also nets us a card most of the time.

Enjoy murdering your way through the Seven Kingdoms!

Have you tried this deck in melee? It could be pretty strong there, I imagine...
