So here the deck i've played at Winter Festival 2018. The Greyjoy's Deluxe was not valid, so i've decided to try to give anyway a chance to my beloved GJ.
80 players attend the tournament with 7 round of swiss and top 16.
I've finished 4-3 loosing the cut against the worst MU that i can find: Free Folk since rush, suffer (in this case, extreme) aggro strategy. I had a really difficult pairings to face of with this deck, and i've played probably the most beautiful, thoughfull match playing this game, against a great friend and player, Manfre.
In any case i could not do so much in the games I lost having fun, so no regrets. The 18th place with the highest SoS of the tournament made me proud :)
Just two words on my choice:
Old Bill Bone Setupable bi-icon charachetr, with a funny ability, situational but can help.
The Iron Bank Will Have Its Due : Helps the economy of the deck, and can be used as a preventive save, if save are missing. In adding you can recycle the powerfull Acolyte of the Waves. Two time i was forced to setup one of it after mulligan, and i take it back for a 13 Gold Pentoshi opening.
King of Salt and Rock: One more way to have a king char, and a powerfull way to gain extra power pillaging, feeding the opponent discard pile for Asha Greyjoy (Km) and Euron Crow's Eye (Core)
Barring the Gates: 5 gold plot, helps against Stark and all the "jump in" decks Assault from the Shadows. Big The Wall.
Location control
You know, Stark deck with Skagos and their tricks exist. I've not played against wolfs in this tournament, but i wanted to have at least some answers that can also help against other decks.
Dagmer Cleftjaw : Understimated card. He made a great job in this deck, making opponents more than one time, in hard situation. He steal one key location in each game that i've played this card.
Newly-Made Lord , Lordsport Shipwright, Sea Bitch complete the pack
No We Do Not Sow : I've decided to remove them one day befor the tournament. With GJ is not difficult to Win UO challenges, but i preferred a more solid pack to control locations using that 1 saved gold in other ways.
