This is the deck I took to a series of Sydney events this past weekend: a Great Hall rookery event and a Store Championship. Both events I won, going undefeated, and having a lot of fun with this deck!
Great Hall: Lannister Sun - W / Tyrell Wars - W / Targaryen Rose - W
Store Championship: Night's Watch Assault - W / Tyrell Lion - W / Tyrell Wars - W
This is a pretty typical Builders deck that wants to do want Builders decks normally want to do: play Brandon's Gift, trigger the Gift, flood out lots of dudes, and defend the Wall.
In the Great Hall event I didn't use my Rookery once so I'm not going to bother listing the sideboard cards.
The splash of Baratheon adds in a few extra cards that suit the Builders playstyle well: most notably the Red Keep and In the Name of Your King (very helpful against Sea of Blood), both of which would be unavailable if this deck was Night's Watch Stag instead of Baratheon Watch.
Valar Dohaeris does literally nothing to this deck so the only resets you need to worry about (and plan for, if you suspect them) are Valar Morghulis and Political Disaster. VM is easy enough to plan for with the two card draw plots. In one of my matches I was randomly hit by First Snow of Winter which would have hurt if I didn't have Ranging Party and some duped uniques already out.
Another thing to be careful is challenge control, especially removal from challenges or nullifying defending characters in some way. Against factions that specialise in that, always put two into the challenge just to be sure.
Other than that, just sit back and relax as your opponent gets frustrated with challenge math. Enjoy!

He's got all of the good ones. |
Welcome to builders. Almost all of the pieces are non-loyal. |

Hey thanks for the great deck, looks very nostalgic :) What about Return to the Fields against Valar Morghulis ? |
Return to the Fields might be worth testing but I'm not sure which plot you'd replace it with as all the plots are pretty integral. I'm not a fan of King's Landing as it is too expensive and playing The Wall is enough of a tempo hit as is. Frozen Solid is not a major concern as it cannot hit The Wall and there are many good locations in this deck even if it does hit one or two of them. For Seized by the Guard, I run Confiscation specifically for it. :) |
5 baratheon cards...
really?
