How many copies of the core set are you using? Only 2? This seems a bit scattered.

@scantrell24 yeah, sadly I don’t have the money for a third yet

I’d recommend cutting to 60 cards. Start with Dothraki Sea, there’s not enough Dothraki out there yet to make it usable. Maester Lomys is a bit iffy as well, and the Merchant Prince. Go up to 2X of all the dragons instead. Drogo’s Arakh should go for the same reason as Dothraki Sea. I’d recommend consolidating your events: take out Superior Claim and go 2X of the most important ones. This will add consistency. Plots: Reinforcements can be horrible if you don’t have a good target for it, I’d swap that out as well as Here to Serve as you only have 1 target for it (and not a good one). Building Orders also seems out of place. I’d swap in Marched to the Wall and A Noble Cause. Perhaps Counting Coppers since Targ doesn’t have an in-house draw location.

Econ is super important to the game right now. If you play with your deck a few times, you’ll notice that you’ll have trouble playing your 5+ costers with ease. You have Dany (7), Khal (6), Randyll (6), KoF (5), Magister Illyrio (5), and the Wilding Horde (5).

Your plots all give 1-4 gold with Calling the Banners maybe giving up to 6. If you draw multiple of these guys, without a Kingsroad or you getting insanely lucky draws to get your reducers, they will most likely sit in your hand. Especially the neutral Wilding Horde which you need 5 reducible gold to be able to play. And that’s basically the only thing you can play that turn.

You should think of the banner as supporting your main house. So you should have a strategic gameplan with your main house and your banner house should consist of as cheap characters that can either be claim soak or make a decent impact (like Margaery for 3 gold). In doing so, you save 2 character reducers for the banner house, 2 location reducers, and can slot in more Kingsroads and Roseroads.

Focus on your main house. Get a plan going for it. And banner just what you need to support it. If I were you I would probably scrap Randyll and KoF. They are too expensive. What you want is Dany and Dragons and Burn.

Addendum to previous post:

Your draws will not always be that lucky either. You might end up in situations with no Kings/Roseroads, no reducers. And your draw 2 will be a 6 and a 5 coster. With your plot only giving 4 and no Fealty, you can’t play anything that turn which is the worst position to be in (and you are susceptible to Intrigue pulling your power cards out of your hand).

Also meant to say “non-reducible” gold for Wildling Horde.
