I have been playing this deck for the last few weeks at a weekly meet up. My group is starting to get frustrated by it. Everything is coming up Roses has been performing extremely well. I am currently 12-1 with it (few plot changes here and there).

Couple of things that might stick out. No Wildfire Assault. This experiment has gone over rather well. I replaced Wildfire Assault with a second Jousting Contest, which lets me navigate through obnoxiously large boards. 1 Milk of the Poppy, I think I might drop the 3rd Varys for a second. In some games its great, in most I don’t need it, basically it just buys me a turn or 2 to find what I need.

The biggest thing you need to pay attention to with this deck is the triggers. There are a lot, so many in fact that often times I forget to settle claim. Support of the People is to get either The Mander or Highgarden going early. Either one of those cards greatly improves your chances of winning. Both of them? Its pretty much wrapped up from there. So far the variance of the deck has been rather low thanks to all the built in draw and tutor. Olenna’s Cunning doesn’t even seem fair in this deck. Should probably be 3 copies honestly.

Make sure to think through the board state and manage your triggers accordingly. Your prioritizes should be Power Challenges, Intrigue Challenges (close second), and finally Military Challenges.

Support of the people is shining really bright in Tyrell right now. I think (2) is probably the best call. First cards to leave will probably be Lomys & (1) copy of Queen of Thorns when more Tyrell cards come around. Is Paxter good for gold most games or does his ability do work?

I like it. I’d probably run some different ratios. -1 Highgarden -1 Varys +1 KoF +1 Support of the People or Littlefinger.

How often are you able to drop in the Informants without the Queen of Thorns? Without Littlefinger or bigger economy on your plots, looks like a long shot outside of the Calling The Banners Turn unless you used SotP for Roseroads.

Ignore what I said about Highgarden. You need at least 2 since you’re going double jousting contest.

@GameOfPwnsI probably will cut Llomys. Not sure about the third The Queen of Thorns she really makes up the difference in the economy. This deck really took life with Support of the People it offers so much flexibility.

@celric I’m not a big Littlefinger fan. And the nuetral slots are tight already. Highgarden is great against Balon Greyjoy and Robert Baratheon. Another trick is to use it to feint an attack forcing them to kneel, only to trigger it on your own attacker, opening up another challenge type.

I’m really enjoying this decklist. The only thing I have any real opinion on is I think Growing Strong is definitely a card that’s worth running 3 of.

@MelisandreSwagg I love Growing Strong I just couldn’t find room for a third copy. I suppose with all the draw and tutor going up to 61-62 cards wouldn’t kill me. Or I guess I could gain the slot by removing Maester Lomys. Have you been running this much lately? If so how have you faired with it?

@Jensen22 I tend to find that the more games I see Growing Strong the better it goes for me. It’s a card that further increases the maximum potential of the deck, and can be vital at times to raise your combat math high enough to trigger all of your effects. I don’t see anything wrong with cutting Maester Lomys, he’s not very essential to the deck.

What about treachery? Whats the plan against Lannisters?
