Played this deck into the Top 4 today at my first Store Championship. Went 3-1 in Swiss, winning against 2 Greyjoy and a Martell, losing to Targaryen in Swiss and to Lannister in the Top 4.

I wasn’t able to get my hands on Road to Winterfell until late last night, so I built this deck right before bed and then played it blind.

This is an updated version of the Roses With Horns deck I played a few weeks ago, updated to make use of Lady Sansa’s Rose. In the last tournament I had been finding The Mander a little difficult to trigger so I decided to switch around to Baratheon as to make use of The Red Keep instead, and also add Robert Baratheon and In the Name of Your King!.

I was only able to Lady Sansa’s Rose once over the course of the day, but it was directly responsible for my Round 1 win, so no complaints. Unsure of how I feel about In the Name of Your King! yet, since I only used it once on a turn 1 attack to save my early setup characters.

Thoughts on the current build:

I would like to find room for Superior Claim to make the rush more powerful, I’m currently considering dropping Seen In Flames to make room. The R’hllor card suite is good of course, but I don’t find myself needing to rely on it. Vanguard Lancer may drop out for something else as well, haven’t decided.

Plot Deck side, I have no complaints as to how this setup worked for the day, but I would like to find room for Jousting Contest and Calling the Banners. Jousting Contest makes setting up a challenge for Lady Sansa’s Rose so much easier, and I’ve been hurting for money in some games, so Calling the Banners can help alleviate that stress.

I’m still fluctuating between whether I prefer Baratheon or Tyrell as the main house, they both have their strengths. I’ll continue testing this version for a bit and see how it goes.
