Winning deck from the Black Moon store championship. Notes for a tournament report forthcoming. King of Swiss at 5-0, cut to 8.

I want to thank Chris Lavin and Britt Fitch for theorycrafting the bones of this deck with me a few weeks back, and Dennis Harrison for some last-minute playtesting help that led to two plot-swaps the night before the tournament. Working on the list with other players definitely made it better than it would have been had I done it alone.

Round 1 vs. Lanni/Rose Round 2 vs. Bara/Rose Round 3 vs. Targ/Lion Round 4 vs. Tyrell/Stag Round 5 vs. Lanni/Rose

Cut Quarter vs. Bara/Rose Semi vs. Targ/Rose Final vs. Lanni/Rose (rematch from round 5)

Congratulations Than,

That was an excellent finals game there at the end. Your deck has a considerable amount of flexibility, and it was played well.

Congrats Than! Awesome build! How did Sneak Attack treat you throughout the tourney? Was it used mostly for more INT claim or used to close out the game w/ a 2 claim power?

I like it. :)

Out of curiosity why do you include the 3x Desert Scavenger but don't really have that many expensive cards to begin with? Congrats on your win, I want to hear your reasoning for why you took 3x of them over more copies of Bastard Daughter or maybe a 1x of Obara Sand.

Imo, 3x of the reducers in both banner and main faction are usually the first 6 cards you put in the deck. Its all about having essentially free claim soak that is great in setup as well, and defends against Marched to the Wall.

@MackJaegerit's also especially good in lannister to have all six of the weenies so you can flop tywin and if you're lucky a zero cost location without losing the game turn 1 to marched.
