Second place at 13-player GNK on Wolves of the North release day. Robb, Eddard, Blackfish, Rodrick, and Grey Wind are very good together.

It came down to Ice or Seal of the Hand, and I valued the stand more than the kill, to accumulate renown power as quickly as possible. Since I'm not really going for kills here (no Wildfire, Sneak Attack, Marched, etc), Winter Is Coming doesn't fit. I'd rather have the cancels to protect my big hitters. I drew Winterfell once, and it stopped my opponent's Robb during my military attack. The strength buff helped too. |
Did you play any mirror matches? Do you think this can go fast enough if you play against stark murder? Contrast on the result! |
I have played a couple games against other stark Fealty. One was a resounding win. In the other we played to a timed draw as I only saw Robb, Grey Wind, and Catelyn out of my big hitters. |

Only one plot is below four gold, and it puts Nymeria or Summer into play so it's effectively 5 or 6 gold. There's a ton of loyal cards so Fealty triggers almost every turn. I haven't had economy problems yet. |
yeah, i have those too, but 5 or 6 gold gets you one big guy and nothing else. but maybe i just need to mine to the table and i'll see something different |
I'm sure that this wasn't a deck that you put much thought into but any insight as to why you weren't playing Ice and Winter is Coming would be appreciated. How did Winterfell perform (if you got it out)?
