The deck went 4 - 1 - 0 in a field of 24 players. During the rounds of swiss it faced Targaryen Fealty (W),Baratheon Fealty (W),Stark Fealty (W),Lannister Banner Of The Stag (W) and Lannister Fealty (D) ending 1st place.In the final matches of Top 8 it won against Lannister Lord Of The Crossing,Lannister Fealty (the same against which i got a draw during the last round of swiss) and Lannister Fealty.Thanks to all players who attended the tournament,it was a really great experience! :) See you next time! :)

Why did you choose not to run The Pack Survives over the Hands Judgement?

Laplante 219

Cause pack survives will be canceled just as easily and will cost you more than gold, i guess ?

Crabshack101 7

Canceled by Hand? There is a really interesting combo here with rob and sacrificing stuff that can cancel an event and ready all your kneltcharacters. So I can see a use in Stark but i can also see your point @Laplante

I would play test this deck with The Pack Survives. Hands Judgment has a variant card cost while Pack is only cost 1 and a kneel. Since there are so many tricks Stark can use to restand, I'd really vouch for giving it a shot. Plus having Bran, I feel Hands Judgment is a bit unnecessary and adds potential for you to draw dead when you use Gates.

@TheBrianFactoractually Pack costs 0!

You're right! I'm thinking of As Hard As Winter's cost :).

What are your thoughts between Eddard Stark and Eddard Stark? I was expecting to see more of the new one after the expansion.

AFrede 101

Very interesting to see core Eddard and core Sansa, i figured the WotN versions of those would be auto includes and give Stark a boost. I could see going core Sansa with WotN Eddard if you are going power rush or going core Ed with WotN Sansa if you are building for board control, but any particular reason to go Core with both?

Not a single Rickon in the build. So disappointing.

@Crabshack101 `@TheBrianFactor I didn't run The Pack Survives because i'm afraid kneeling two characters to cancel an event would ruin my chances of controlling challenges.Plus,i only play three direwolves and discarding one of them is not always a viable option,not to mention it would allow me to restand my characters only assuming i have Robb in play. Besides,the events you most likely want to cancel usually do not cost more than 1 gold (Tear of Lys,Dracarys!,Treachery on Ice's Responce etc.),so i think saving 1 gold to cancel them with The Hand's Judgement is an easier way to achieve the same goal. :) However,if you think The Pack Survives is better you should totally give it a try,let me know if it works! :)

@Stratix Choosing which Ned to play was one of the most difficult things for me (and my laziness might have had an important role on this particular decision having playtested the core set version much more ^^"). However,core set Ned often forces the opponent to make hard decisions and will sometime prevent him to declare additional challenges to prevent the standing.He is also amazingly useful against Baratheon,which is something not to pass by . One final reason to choose core set Ned over his WotN version (and a good reason if your meta is filled with Lannisters like mine) is that you might ironically want him to cost 7 gold and not 6 gold as Robb to reduce the chances Ser Gregor Clegane triggers his ability. These were just my thoughts,but WotN Ned is a very strong card nonetheless,he might surely be worth a try.Maybe 2 of him and 1 The Blackfish? .-.

@AFrede See the comment above on why i chose core set Ned. :) As for Sansa,i just think the core set one is amazing and i don't really like her WotN version so much. ^^"

@uBaH Rickon countered your ability to search for him in the decklist. ;) He's so strong! ;)
