This is an original idea I had a while back and then I steered away from Greyjoy for a bit. However recently, I decided to revisit it and I think the deck is in a really good state right now. First of all, I see no one running Greyjoy banner of the Wolf decks at all so that in it of itself gets me excited. The main reason I built this deck is for the synergy with Fishwhiskers and Old Nan. This is something I like a lot and I feel as though I can reliably get unopposed challenges no matter what with both of them being 3x. Also, if an opponent reveals a Summer plot and you reveal a Winter plot, you can still get Fishwhiskers ability to trigger if you have Old Nan out and you give their plot the Winter trait. It will still have the Summer trait but at that point there will essentially be 2 Winter plots revealed and 1 Summer revealed.

The deck is themed around getting unopposed challenges obviously, but I always feel as though Greyjoy lacks a good spread of intrigue icons when I build them. With Sansa, Donella, Osha, and Old Nan I think I get a lot of these needed icons in the deck. Stark is honestly the perfect banner for this deck. Arya brings more stealth, Bran and Jory give you more ways to deal with target kill, Donella helps reduce the cost of Euron, Balon, Dagmer, We Do Not Sow, The Great Kraken, and Seastone Chair, Osha gives you a intrigue icon on offense and defense, and Sansa just helps the over all win condition.

The deck does lack a little bit of draw with only Littlefinger, The Reader, and Great Kraken to work with so that is definitely a weakness. However, with Dagmer, Euron, and We Do Not Sow, you could be stealing quite a few locations to help you out.

This is the first deck I have seen of its kind so please let me know what you think!

Wow! Dagmer Cleftjaw makes an appearance in a deck! I tried utilizing him in a pillage deck once but found him a little too expensive. If he were a 6 cost he'd be twice as good.

@SerArthurI did the same before actually and ran into the same problem. I figured with 3, 5 gold plots, and trading I could reliably get him out if I drew him. He definitely is one of the harder 7 costers in the game to get out though, kind of like Mirri, but I wanted a third renown character and I also just wanted to see what his impact would be since I know it can be pretty situational. However, I feel that when you are able to steal things like a Ghaston Grey or one of the other 63 locations that fall under his text, it can be pretty good.

why no flying axes ? combined with fisherman's friend makes for good control of the opponent's board. add some raiders for the surprising factor. maybe not tournament winning deck but definitely fun to play... especially when it works ; ]
