No Funny Stuff: Ep 10 - Stark Lord of the Crossing | 7 | 5 | 2 | 1.0 |

Tulsa, OK: Covenant Store Championship
Went undefeated thru the day with this. Natural progression of what to do with large Stark characters if your gameplan is still to jam 3X of each of them in a deck. Lord of the Crossing agenda provides us the 2-3 extra power per game that allows us to be in striking distance of winning by turn 3, forcing our opponents to Valar or otherwise reset earlier than their game plan would like. Generally to assist with Valar resiliency we aggressively mulligan for hands with dupes in them, as opposed to economy. (This is usually most important against Lanni Rains matchups). LoTC also allows us to go first more than we would normally desire if we were normal Stark Fealty.
My typical plot progression was opening with Time of Plenty, into Winter Festival, then usually Wardens of the North if i felt the game could be won that turn. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. Couple of things i wanted to point out:
3X Jory Cassel - Right Now, as in at this very moment, he's fucking amazing. Outside of a few handful of scenarios, he never will hit your dead pile, so his extra copies never become dead cards. His saves on Valar turns are very impactful, and when a Winter plot is revealed our opponent has to very carefully consider if they want to cause Mil claim or act to kill a character and give us a free power. Lets not forget about his ability to eat a 2 claim by himself.
The rest of the Tully power gain package in general is left out here. Ive enjoyed playing Riverrun Minstrels in the past, but they just dont fit very well here as they're awkwardly costed. Also, Riverrun itself is incredibly inconsistent, so we just opted to avoid it all together.
Ser Edmure Tully - Normally, i wouldnt be running this guy. He doesnt actually gain us power without help from our opponent, so his contribution to our gameplan in a vacuum is minimal. However, we need some kind of answer for the decks that are actually trying to go even faster than us. Without running resets of our own, we'll actually have some trouble ensuring the deck thats more all in that it should be doesnt get there a half turn before us. Edmure helps in not only those situations, but also against the new wave of Tyrell thats popping up due to the retarded amount of renown thats now possible with that faction.
The Hands Judgement: Some may think this is a little much with Bran also being in the deck, but at the moment it isnt overkill. Of the events we want to stop are Dracarys!, Risen from the Sea, Treachery, Nightmares, and Tears of Lys, all of which you can expect to see multiples of over the course of a large tournament. Everytime i drew HJ during the SC it was impactful and i was happy to see it.
Rest of it is pretty self explanatory, thanks all

Also with a single copy of Jon Snow (WotN) how do you deal with the Bara Kneel lockdown? |

Very nice deck, congratulations and thanks for sharing! How did Roose Bolton turn out for you? Did you get to use his ability, or was he there more because of his pair of icons? Also, have you tried Lady in the deck? With 3 copies of Sansa Stark (WotN) and 2 of Septa Mordane it seems like it would fit your plan of making 3 challenges every turn. |
Have you tried King Robb's Host in this deck? The rush they bring to the table is actually ridiculous. |

what do you think abaou arya's fight and the wolf king? |
Being a long time Stark player, I love your deck and what it is trying to do. Question, how do you deal with the 3 Craven and 3 Milk of the Poppy once you've burned your confiscation and your wardens? Against Wall decks how do you manage?
