Made a couple tweaks to our nationals list and managed to take down BC regionals with it. Lost once on the day to Lanni Rains. Beat Stark Fealty, Martell Fealty, Targ Wolf, Stark Watch, Lanni Rains, Lanni Dragon.

Still a very well rounded deck, can go fast, has answers to most things, Valar wins you a few games and rush wins you a few games with Crossing usually allowing you to win long grindy games.

It doesn't get hurt too badly by Duel and you can play around it if you see a deck that is likely to have it.

Congrats Aaron! Well deserved. First time visiting Bastion Games and you guys are a great host. Thank you very much.

Did your Heads on Spikes get any hit today? i removed it in my Martell deck after ETX and don't know if i should put it back.

Thanks Felix, it was good to see you out.

To me Heads is just a free intrigue challenge with 6 initiative, and every once in a while you hit a good character and it really swings the game, but even if you don't it is still a good plot in my mind.

I think I hit 4 people today in 7 games, the first game was a Big John Snow and that was game changing for sure since he had 2 dupes for him. Game 2 was a Jamie that he summonsed for but didn't play. And in the final I hit Fast Eddy and it helped for sure.

Congrats! Your deckbuild choices are very interesting. The deck seems to be strong and it apparently was. ^^

Why only one Left and three Right? Jaqen x1 is a meta call or just a usefull solution that is not essential to be in x2 or x3?

The old version of the deck was running 2/2 Left and Right. This leads to higher instances of drawing a dead card. With 3-1 you have more chances at having a chud around after Valar since you can draw his dupe more reliably, yet it still gives you occassions when you get them out together.

Jaqen is amazing in this deck when you get him out. With the pumps from Crossing/Marge/Pavillion you can get scenarios where he can easily kill key characters or strip dupes to set up Valar. The deck doesn't have any solutions to a board state where your opponent has a stronger board than you and a lot of dupes so he is your answer to those situations, and just a very strong body in all other situations.

How do you feel about Frey Lordlings in place of Left and Right? With Walder and the Frey Hospitality event coming in the next pack do you think they might be worth a look since they work well with The Lord of the Crossing? I'm also anxious to see what the Tyrell limited location will do for the faction.

You could try it. The problem is that the 3 cost is a big difference from the 2 cost. 2 is a very important number for set ups. 2-2-4 or 6-2-0 or 5-2-1 are your ideal setups.

I think once the Red Wedding pack hits you could run a completely Frey centric deck out of Tyrell but that wouldn't be this deck it would be something completely different.

I wouldn't put any of the Frey stuff into this deck on it's own. Perhaps with some testing there might be some stuff that warrants it.

Well done on your results!

Regarding the Arbor, is there a reason for 2 copies rather than 3? Is it just that you don't want the tempo hit of drawing and not playing it if it isn't found on setup?
