Hello can You write little bit about strategy ? |
Straight up power rush? |
I play it more towards defensive dominance counterattack I think. Always start of with Calm, then usually double Jousting to limit your opponents effectiveness on challenges and at the same time you can build up some power through renown. Then try to finish off with Feast or Clash supported by Informant or Sansa's Rose. I try to go 2nd always, Left & Right, Randyll, Queen are good for defense and counterattacking. Cunning is MVP for tutoring anything u might need at the time or simply just go for the Barge. Didn't bother with the meta, this deck has many weaknesses anyway.... just try to play around it, and with a little luck.... Viva Tyrell !!! |
I was able to try this list a few hours ago against Stark Fealty. Stark power rushed for 10 with Ned (Little Bird + Lady), Robb, and Catelyn at Plot 5 while Tyrell was behind at 5 power with only Left, Right, Margaery (milked), and The Queen of Thorns. Managed to stall the game to Plot 9 at 10 power, while Starks have 12 power. Played it defensively and utilized Jousting Contest with Highgarden to fend of Military Attacks. Stark finished finally with Heads on Spike. Dominance was with the Tyrells on all rounds. |
What changes would you make with the new chapter pack? |
Probably just the Mare in Heat to boost the jousting strategy. With The King's Peace out, I think the Knights of the Crossing deck is more awesome to play with now :) |
Congrats JYM! This deck was my first opponent during this SC and it was a bomb!
