From the publisher: "The Martell family is at War with the "Others", literally every other family in Westeros. As the Martells prepare to defend themselves from total destruction at the hands of an inscrutable enemy, all focus is on the development of military geniuses who can fight such a war, and win. The long distances of intercontinental sea have given hope to the defenders of the Martells-- they have time to train these future commanders up from childhood, forging them into an irresistible force in the Dornish facility called the Battle School. Oberyn "The Red Viper" Martell was not the only child in the Battle School; he was just the best of the best. Doran's past was a battle just to survive. His success brought him to the attention of the Battle School's recruiters, those people scouring Westeros for leaders, tacticians, and generals to save Earth from the threat of alien invasion. Doran was sent into Dorn, to the Battle School. And there he met Oberyn..."

"My opponent thought they had me when they played Milk of the Poppy, but all of my characters have excellent stats so it hardly mattered at all." --Neil Gaiman

I don't see the purpose of not playing at least Gaston Grey. It's pure value, especially since you aren't poppying anything. Tons of econ, looks like you go to topdeck mode almost immediately with the ability to vomit out a bunch of reducers.
