I played Baratheon Fealty yesterday at a SC and while it did excellent, I really felt something could be added against some of the newer decks in the format (crossing, etc).

I wondered how good it would be if we add the kneel aspects of Baratheon with the icon control of Martel? I'm hoping to test this deck out Tuesday at my local gathering. I think it can definitely use some fine tuning but this is an early draft of the list.

My main concern is getting off tears of lys, but with little birds, nymeria and selyse I hope this shouldn't be an issue. Selyse is a card, I'm thinking of upping the count to. She was excellent in every game when I was playing fealty, and I think she should be great in something like this as well.

I brought a similar Bara/Sun control deck to a GNK today. I went 3-1 for third place, losing to a Bara/Lion deck in the first round. The other three decks were a Tyrell/Crossing, Martell/Crossing, and Greyjoy/Lion.

Because Selyse can hand out intrigue icons, I don't think Little Bird will be necessary to get through the Tears. Also, since the deck really wants to go second, Palace Knights are great, gaining another intrigue icon. As is Sunspear. I found that a couple copies of Vanguard Lancer were a decent addition and they were the reason I was able to win against the Greyjoy deck. Being able to knock power off of your opponent's faction cannot be understated in a slow control deck.

Awesome to hear that. I was thinking of removing the little birds as well. It's primarily there to stop a tears on Robert. I admitted its a habit now that I bring little birds due to the large lanni presence in my meta. It's also handy to have an extra attachment against greyjoy. I'll have to give it a shot tho! Congrats on placing.

I like it mainly for theme. Many decks around lack some kind of backstory and are just played as "card-combo".

Keep us posted on how it handles the tourney! =)
