Just a quick deck that came to mind when trying to mix Bara and Stark.

The goal is to have Gendry and Sansa generate power by doing almost nothing. Having Stannis out helps a lot to calm down the opponent's aggressivity (still debating for a 3rd copy).

Eddard also helps defend and synergizes well with Stannis.

Renly is a wild spot that can help bringing out the Starks and is a tricon. I'm still not sure if I want to remove him to get to 60 cards though.

Most unique 3 coster and less have dupes to help survive the First snow of winter.

I wish I could make room for some Little Birds to help with protection from Tears of Lys.

The plot deck is pretty standard. I'm going for no Wildfire/First snow because my goal is to sit back and enjoy the dominance. This also increases my own Calling the Banners when I need it. I removed a Summons to add another Filthy Accusations and it proved quite useful so far.

The deck is probably more fun than practical, but i'll see what I can squeeze out of it :)

BD Cosmos Spring Tournament Results

Game 1 : Lannister of the Rose

She started with Tywin Lannister, Lannisport Merchant and a The Roseroad (or Western Fiefdom) and I don't remember exactly what I had. I was able to bring out the big Baratheons early and Stannis Baratheonjust locked the board so hard with Melisandreand Filthy Accusations. This kind of games make me realize that I'm lucky to face few Baratheons because it can really be annoying!

Game 2 : Greyjoy Fealty

He started with Theon Greyjoy with Little Bird, Iron Islands Fishmonger, Sea Tower and Iron Fleet Scout. He eventually got Asha Greyjoy that had a dupe, a milk, a Risen from the Sea AND a Little Bird, so much cards! I got Stannis Baratheon, Gendry and Sansa Stark early enough and with enough kneel, Milk of the Poppy and In the Name of Your King! I was able to prevent any aggression and dominance my way to victory. Stannis prevailed once again as the true king of Westeros.

Game 3 : Targaryen of the Lion

This was the highlight of my evening. I had a bad setup with only Sansa Stark and a Chamber of the Painted Table. She started with a Plaza of Punishment and some dragons + reducers if my memory is good. I knew at that point that Sansa would die to the Plaza and that there was little I could do. I got Eddard Stark out on turn 1 to help defend the power challenge, but she attacked with Unsullied and used a Dracarys! to kill Eddard, I felt bad not seeing this coming.

So, turn 2 begins, I have no board, a painted table and a Roseroad facing an army of 2 dragons, Ser Gregor Clegane, one Unsullied and 2 reducers. It was a job for the rightful king of Westeros. I got Stannis Baratheon out with Lightbringer and sent him marching forward. I cancelled the military challenge with In the Name of Your King! and was able to live to fight another day. On the next turn I played Calm Over Westeros to again help me survive through military claim and Renly Baratheon was able to join his brother. Gregor could still hit something good with his Pillage but it made me discard my 2nd In the name of your king.

The following 2 turns were both Filthy Accusations to kneel Gregor and win dominance with a brand new The Iron Throne and Gendry. I was able to slowly crawl back in power with the Table and the Throne + Gendry while surviving as best I could before an angry mob of Dothrakis and some dragons.

On the last turn, Stannis got Milked so I knew it was make or break at that point because her whole army would stand up to kill me next turn. I was able to pull out a win with A Feast for Crows even with Gendry dying to Gregor's pillage.

Once again, I felt a bit bad to be able to come back from such a heavy disadvantageous situation and hope that I won't face a lot of Stannis, the rightful king!

Game 4 : Lannister of the Crossing

Got completly destroyed. He started with Tywin + reducer + Fiefdom, I started with Ned + Dragonstone Faithful. Couldn't didn't get Melisandre early enough and never saw Stannis while I faced the whole Lannister family. I got completly wrecked. I am a bit bitter losing to such a high profile deck, but I better get used to it because it's probably not the first time i'll face top tier decks!
