First of all, I would like to thank Gamersaurus Rex for hosting such a fantastic event with a great turnout of 30 players. This deck is similar to the one i won Malaysia open with. Only changes are -1 grey wind and -1 wolf dream and replace them with Septa and luwin.

The deck went 3-2 (1 modified loss) in swiss throughout the day. I've attached a brief tournament report below detailing whatever stood out in the games.

Round 1: Yu Qin(Lannister Kraken): He setup a single Tywin and a lannisport merchant. Well... not the god like set up but still strong enough.... he dude tywin twice in turn 1. He is leading all the way as i unable to draw my answer to tywin. Game go to time and i manage to stall him for a full win. i lose 11-14 to him. (0-1)

Round 2: Liz (Lannister Crossing): Liz is the from the silent sister group in singapore. I have never play with her before and not sure what to expect. The interesting thing is... The whole row of table have 5 lannister playing. All of the other 4 table have a tywin and a character reducer plus a rose road set up. Liz got similar set up but it is Mance Rayder instead of tywin. She did not draw any more location and her board is thin by my winter is coming and ice combo set up. And i putting down a econ location every turn. Stark out econ the lannister and claim a victory (Win, 1-1)

Round 3: Alex (Stark Fealty): My fellow team member... who was a GJ player... went on to play tyrell wolf and have great successful with it but decided to play stark fealty because he dismantled his tyrell wolf deck. His deck list is the same as mine except 2 cards and his plot choice is a little different as well. Anyway, he have winterfell out early but fail to see his big character. I manage to draw robb, cat and ned. I power rush his board and claim another victory (Win 2-1)

Round 4: Chewy (Targ lion): Chewy have a very bad set draw for this round. he did not manage to draw any econ plot. Turn 1 i did a miltary challenge and play winter is coming. He is left with Jamie as the only character and i marched next turn. The game does not do justice to him at all as he did not managed to marshal anything due to the lack of econ and small character for claim soak. It is a 1 sided battle and his board is empty from round 2. I feel sorry as this is really NPE and bad. But i got my karma on my next round(Win, 3-1)

Round 5: Ewan(Lannister Targ): This is the round karma hit hard and i got the beating of my life. my first hand have bran, winterfell, gates of winterfell, 2 ice, winter is coming and 1 lady. No way i keeping this hand... i shuffle and draw my next 7..... Winterfell steward, Maester Luwin, nymeria, 2 ice and 2 winter is coming...... set up winterfell steward and maester luwin with nymeria. Ewan open with.... Mountain, lannisport merchant and a location reducer. I draw into robb and jon snow. I play robb and something (i forget). I lose the military challenge and mountain pillage black fish and kill my robb. Seeing my hand and his board state (he have mountain and tyrion out). i decided to concede as i will not be able to stop him as i have no econ and no enough military str to oppose mountain. (lose 3-2)

Manage to get to top 8 as i have a modified lose and that place me abit higher then the rest of the 3-2 players.

Top 8 Quarterfinals: Jason (Lannister Sun): He have a great set up but did not manage to draw into more answer for my board. MVP of the match is blackfish. i was playing from behind as my set up is really normal with 2 tumblestone knight and a winterfell. The 2 tumblestone knight take the hit for military claim as i am still setting up the board state. I manage to get catelyn out, black fish and robb and a few other card before he wildfire. I keep catelyn, robb and blackfish (he have 4 power now) and I marshal jon snow and winter fell steward. Jason miscounted that i am unable to close the game (i am at 8 power) and he go full attack against me kneeling all his guys. i do a military challenge with blackfish and robb and jon snow. He ambush burned man and claim that. Int unopposed by catelyn, sac jon snow to stand robb and went in for power unopposed. i win dom and close the game. 15 power to his 12 power. Game won

Top 4 Semifinals: Tze Ling (Lannister Wolf). I manage to keep her board state very very thin as i am killing her character with Ice and winter is coming. The board state that i have is too overwhelming. Her board control card is first snow but my character are not affected as i have almost the whole stark family out. She is unable to def against my military challenge and she did not draw soak claim character out as well. Game won

Finals: Derek Lee (Lanni Targ): I need to thanks Chewy for keeping a log of this game. He is great in live commentating.

My opening hand was insane... I have robb, blackfish, rickon, kingroad, ice, arya and catelyn. I have a hard time deciding who to set up. I wanted to set up blackfish early but i fear a strong military on derek side and decided to set-up with Robb, Rickon and Kingsroad while he set-up with Magister Illyrio, Burned Men and Kingsroad. We draw back to 7 and i instantly regret setting up Robb. Coz i draw ned, milk and winter is coming.

We both flipped Noble Cause on turn 1, so a roll of a dice. I won the dice roll. I decided to let him go first since i need to know what he is going to marshalled. I draw into heart tree and roseroad. He dropped a dupe on Magister Illyrio, and he had enough econ to marshall Tyrion and Ser Jamie using another Kingsroad. I ponder for a while what i need to marshalled as i have too much option. I decided to bring in Catelyn as i am afraid of tear (which i always assume lanni player will have 1 in hand). I put milk on my Tyrion (as i do not want my catelyn to be stealth). I also bought in Arya and attached Ice on Robb. He goes for Military for 7 with Jaime and Burned Men. Unopposed challenge as he does not have enough for PTTS. I claimed Rickon. Poor guy. He really should not run straight. He goes on Intrigue next with Magister Illyrio. Opposed by Catelyn. Loses Blackfish from hand for claim. (Damn... My heart is bleeding now...). I did a military with robb only as he only have jamie as a defender and even if he ambush Widow's Wail, i will still win the challenge. He opposed with jame. Ice tigger and kill jamie. He claim dupe magister. I did a power challenge stealth tyrion. unopposed challenge. He win dom. 3 power to his 1.

Plot 2, He played March to the wall which is a surprise as i was thinking that he will play Confiscation to remove the milk. I played calling the banner as i need the money to marshell eddard. He let me go first which is another surprise to me. I trigger my calling the banner first before i resolved marched to the wall. (1 more gold!!) I marched Arya away as i have ways to take her back later. He marched burned man. I play Eddard (WoTN) and Sansa (WoTN). I was seriously considering if i want to play sansa as i have a winter is coming in my hand. Playing sansa means i have no money to play winter is coming. I decided to go ahead and play sansa as i need a someone to claim for military. He marshalled The Hound and Targaryen Loyalist. I did a military challenge with robb and ned and i have unopposed challenge. He claim Targ Loyalist. I did a intrigue challenge with sansa alone as i have nothing to lose. If he defend, he need to kneel his 4 str character (tyrion and magister), if he do not opposed me, i will discard a card from his hand. (Catelyn is for defending against Tear). He opposed with magister and stop the challenge. I pass the challenge to Him. He did a military with hound alone. Unopposed as he does not have money for PTTS. I discarded his tear from hand as he decided to keep the hound. I claim sansa triggering robb ability and i stand everyone. He did a intrigue challenge with tyrion and i def with catelyn. He discarded my winter is coming (damn). I win Dom.

Plot 3, I flips the Long Winter as i wish to thin his board further and maintain the lead. He flip Calling the Banners and decided to go first. He managed to milk my Catelyn and he marshall pycelle. I marshall Jon snow and winterfell steward. He went in for intrigue. I know a tear is coming my way as there is no other reason he need to milk catelyn. I decided not to defence with anyone and wanted to use catelyn for offense later and i already know how to deal with the tear. True enough, he tear my robb stark. He discarded my kennel master for intrigue claim. He pass the challenge to me. I attacked him with Jonsnow and robb stark. Unopposed challenge. He claim pycelle and tyrion. I did Intrigue challenge next with catelyn and discarded treachery and seal of the hand. I initiates Jon Snow ability to sacrifice Robb to stand someone. But Lanni plays Treachery the only card in his hand to stop it. Nevertheless, robb is still sac for the cost (HE IS NOT DEAD!!). I did a power challenge last with Eddard and he opposed with the hound. I win dom.

Plot 4, He play Trading with the Pentoshi and i play Confiscation to remove Catelyn's milk. I decided to go first. I milked magister and marshalls syrio forel. He marshalls viserion and milk my eddard. I did a military challenge with jon snow and syrio stealthing hound. He opposed with viserion and claim viserion. I use syrio ability to give catelyn mil icon and stealth. I did a power and stealth hound. unopposed challenge. I pass the challenge to him. He did a power challenge for 10 against me. I trigger jon snow ability to sac himself and stand catelyn. I def the challenge with catelyn, Eddard and winterfell steward. He won Dom.

Plot 5, He play confiscation and i play marched. I go first and trigger my marched first forcing him to marched away the hound ( if he marched magister, he will be force to discard his own milk on my eddard) I marched away my winterfell steward. I played blackfish and milk the magister again. He conceded.

Final Thoughts I really thank all the people who i play with and tested the deck for me. The deck is very consistent with a lot of option and answer for different situation. Special thanks again to Chewy for being the commentary... i hope you are not hooked by doing the commentary every time... you need to be in the FINAL playing and not doing commentary. Thanks to my Valyrian steel team member for enduring my deck and play test against it. And thank you Derek for playing with me on the final round.

I am still exploring how to improve the deck and that is proof a challenge to me. Will need to consider how to tweak the deck for the next tournament.
