Eminem remixes aside, this is probably one of the most powerful decks I have built. Truth be told, I have never lost while playing this. 11-0. However, time will determine its fate in the midst of Valar.

That being said, I am loving how Rains has made several older cards come back into play. The Queen's Assassin and Casterly Rock have new meaning again.

Some of my favorite Rains combos to pull off:

Open plot: Pentoshi, give your opponent more gold to drop more characters and reduce their hand size. Rains trigger to Wildfire, play Trial By Combat, then ambush in a Queen's Assassin, finished by a military challenge, and you have wiped their board.

Trigger Rains into Wardens of the West, with Casterly Rock out, so a total of 2 INT challenges plus Wardens and you have knocked 4 cards out in a turn, followed by a Heads On Spikes and they have lost 5 cards before they marshall.

Again, R. Kelly would be proud. This deck will have your opponent drinking pee.

Sorry I am pretty new at this. This deck looks pretty tough but how do you get 12 cards? Or do you just pick 7 of those?

This is because of the Agenda "The Rains of Castamere". This Agenda allows you to have 5 more Plot cards (schemes) and play them under special circumstances.

@Guardian0988I am testing a similar deck for a store championship this month. However, i am playing The First Snow of Winter instead of Valar Morghulis. What is your opinion on using Valar in this deck? Maybe you can also say something about the worth of Brothel Madame and Valyrian Steel Dagger in this deck. And did you feel the need for a Close Call in the actual environment? Thanks a lot!

@Polli85, there are differences you have to keep in mind when deciding over First Snow vs. Valar. Valar totally wipes the board and I use it as a "last resort" or if I am falling way behind in board status and I have no way of getting ahead. Keep in mind, the Wildfire Assault, Trial By Combat, and Queens Assassin's combo can help take your opponent down. Also, Valar has no claim, BUT, with Rains you can change your agenda to reveal a plot with a claim, so it does have a lot of uses in this deck. I feel that First Snow is not as impactful as it used to be. However, it does still have its uses. It's going to come down to preference.
