Damn, I messed the Redwynes up again, I mean Ser Horas Redwyne of course. :) |
In 'inspiration for' you can see a deck idea from my side, feel free to criticize. |

I like the idea, in fact i try building a similar deck for some time now, but was never satisfied. With this deck it is the same - I'd go either 3x The Queen of Thorns or Arbor - you don't need both, there are just not enough expensive characters in this in my opinion - also I prefer not running Arbor, so I got more consistency. Furthermore you got so much control in this deck, messing with the opponent's math - you could easily run The Mander, instead of Pleasure Barge (and The Arbor that comes with the Barge)! I don't like Olenna's Informant at all, but that is personal taste, probably I would run Ser Hobber Redwyne though, since we got enough Ladies indeed. I love Petyr - if it wouldn't be Fealty, then I'd even run two. I am not sure about Crown of Golden Roses, but it helps standing Randy and would help you with The Mander, but still not quite my favorite, same with Heartsbane - it's beautiful, if Randyll has it, but otherwise just too obvious and doesn't do enough. Growing Strong is so much better because the opponent cannot anticipate it as easily, especially with our friend Paxter. In that regard Renly's Pavilion is so much more versatile, has the same price and can stand Randyll as well, only drawback is: can be nightmared. I have not played enough with Highgarden yet, so won't comment on that, but I love Offer of a Peach. Plots seems decent, maybe Coppers or Marched to the Wall, instead of Pulling the Strings, but that needs to be tested.
