Clu 250
This is my homage to Brett Zeiler's V 1.0 deck made famous in one tournament in Missouri. I'm keeping the name but this is the fourth iteration. It wasn't until relentless assault came that this deck is even possible right now. The original deck drew a ton of cards, played tiny dudes, warships for pump, and plenty of saves. The deck worked much better back in the day due to 2 cost characters were literally half the strength of of the 4 and 5 cost characters. In V 2.0 it takes at least three 2 cost characters to equal one big dude. So, to off set the inherent disadvantage I'm trying it out with multi-claim effects and challenge removal effects. There are some less than stellar pieces of cardboard here but together it should overwhelm your opponent.
Whelp, worked like I thought. Tore up control decks, got massacred against another aggro deck with bigger characters using Relentless Assault. While I like this deck the opening decision tree is very difficult. You have to know what your odds are of pulling the right cards. I missed First Snow all night with Forgotten Plans and was still able to win so maybe I don't need to run it. I don't think this deck has a snowballs chance against NW but I'll still work on it. All hail Clown Boat!
