Hello everybody! Just thought that in the spirit of sharing and not being secretive etc I would share my greyjoy fealty deck that won me 2 GNKs here in Edinburgh.

I'm not claiming it's great or original but it does work a lot of the time.

first GNK was very small only 7 players and I had a first round bye. beat a Lanni kraken deck in the 2nd round in a tight game (i think the high initiative on Rise of the Kraken or maybe it was Weapons at the Door won it for me), and got the dream Summer Harvest into Trading with the Pentoshi against martell crossing and despite what must have looked like my best efforts to throw the game managed to get a timed win (if i had remembered to martial my Iron Mines i'd have saved Theon Greyjoy and 2 power to win outright!)

between GNKs i took Naval Superiority out and put winter festival in which helped a lot! first round against martell fealty, got all the usual suspects out and good old Weapons at the Door to remove all the icon removals for the win. 2nd round very tight match against Targaryen fealty, Summer Harvest into Trading with the Pentoshi first round again but i lost Balon Greyjoy (Core) to Dracarys! first round and the sheer number of targ folk made it really difficult, also had pretty much no locations show up. 15-14 in the end and probably didn't deserve the win (certainly half way through i was thinking there was no chance!) 3rd vs martell stag, poor draw for the martells and a lucky Balon Greyjoy (Core) top deck helped. Euron Crow's Eye spent a bunch of time losing all his icons! but Weapons at the Door again won the game. and finally a crushing 2nd turn defeat against stark fealty. utterly crushed. there really wasn't much i could do except first turn i probably should have put in a Lordsport Shipwright instead of 2 Iron Mines, that would have stopped someone big going in.

so I don't really think i have any changes to make, never saw the Captain's Daughter once, Newly-Made Lord sat in my hand waiting for action but the only game it would have helped i intrigued out Ghaston Grey anyway.

looking forward to seeing what the new cards and Valar Morghulis bring but in the meantime i think i'm going to try night's watch...

cheers

daniel
