• “Eligible” means a character that can legally enter play, so you cannot put a unique character into play if there is a copy of it in your dead pile, or if there is a copy you own in play under another player’s control.

• If the character enters play as a duplicate, that duplicate will be returned to your hand at the end of the phase. If the duplicate is no longer in play at that point, nothing will happen to the character. Note that this is different to the original version of the card, due to the phrase “if that card is still in play” (as opposed to “if that character is still in play”).
