Rules FAQ

  • If the character you returned to hand or placed in shadows was your only attacking character, the challenge resolution will still proceed as normal.

  • Returning a character to hand or placing it in shadows may cause another character to be “attacking alone” for the purposes of triggering card abilities (for instance, Jaqen H'ghar).

  • If you choose to place the character in shadows, this event will not give that character the shadow keyword. If it does not have printed shadow, it will be stuck in shadows unless you have another way to bring it out again (for instance, Starfall Spy).
