• Attached character is "attacking" when it is participating in the challenge on the attacking player's side. This happens from the point when the challenge is initiated (Step 4.2). A defending character is any character participating in the challenge on the defending player's side. This usually happens from the point when defenders are declared (Step 4.2.1).
