Rules FAQ
-
The losing opponent decides whether to put the chosen card on the top or bottom of their deck, not the player who controls The Imp's Agent. The card is not revealed to other players, but they do know where it went.
-
Returning to shadows is the cost of the ability, so it still happens even if the effect is canceled.
-
You cannot trigger the reaction if the losing opponent has no cards in hand.
-
If Starfall Spy or The Queen of Thorns (TMoW) are also participating in the same challenge, they can put The Imp's Agent back into play in the same reaction window, standing (and not participating anymore).
-
You cannot play Poisoned Coin after you triggered The Imp's Agent if it was your only participating character with shadow. You have to play Poisoned Coin first in that scenario.
-
Returning The Imp's Agent to shadows can cause another character to be attacking or defending alone for the purposes of triggering card abilities (for instance, Jaqen H'ghar).
-
If The Imp's Agent was your only attacking character, the challenge resolution still proceeds as normal.
