  • The minimum of 1 refers to the base value of X. It will be 1 even if you have no plots in your used pile. However, you can still reduce the cost to bring House Umber Berserkers out of shadows to 0. Note that this is different to cards like Grizzled Miner that specifically refer to reducing the cost.
