Rules FAQ

  • See Characters contributing their STR for some general rules related to this mechanic.

  • Any card ability that explicitly says a character does not contribute its STR to a challenge takes precedence over any card ability or framework effect that says the opposite.

  • You do not take control of the character, nor does it stop participating in the challenge on the opponent's side. If you win the challenge, you cannot resolve any keywords for that character. If the opponent wins, they can resolve the character's keywords even though the character contributed STR to your side.

  • If the character that is contributing STR to your side is later removed from the challenge, it will continue to contribute STR to your side.

  • After the ability is triggered, its effect will persist even if attached character and/or Enameled Green Armor leave play.

  • You cannot win the challenge unless you control at least one participating character. If all of your participating characters have been removed from the challenge (or left play), you will not win the challenge even if something else is still contributing STR to your side. If your STR total is higher than your opponent's (or equal, if you are attacking), the challenge ends with no winner or loser.
