Rules FAQ

  • Blood of Valyria does not prevent effects that increase attached character's STR from expiring.

  • Attached character's STR cannot be set to a value lower than its base value. (See FAQ ruling on Daenerys Targaryen (R2).)

  • Pre-existing lasting effects that reduce attached character's STR are ignored after Blood of Valyria is attached. However, a lasting effect does not expire just because Blood of Valyria has been attached. If Blood of Valyria leaves play before the lasting effect expires, that lasting effect will immediately affect the STR calculation again.
