Rules FAQ

  • The choices are made in player order, starting with the first player. Every player makes their choice (or declines to choose anything) with the knowledge of what the players before them have chosen. After all the choices have been made, all the chosen characters are then knelt simultaneously. (See Priority of Simultaneous Resolution.)

  • You cannot choose a character that is already kneeling, or a character that cannot be knelt by card effects (for instance, Ygritte).

  • If 2 or more characters are tied for the highest STR, none of them get the power.

  • If the character with the highest STR cannot gain power (for instance, due to Karhold), nothing else happens.

  • If only 1 character is knelt, it will have the highest STR by default, even if its STR is 0.

  • The STR comparison is made during the post-then part of the effect. If any of the chosen characters now have a different STR than before they were knelt, their current STR is taken into account.
