Tyrell version of the Midrange Shadow. The hole point is to make an economic boom :

  • 1 Oldtown Undercity + Oldtown generates the card advantage
  • 2 Economy is slightly superior to Lannister, because of a bit more locations. But not that much.

Then you rentabilize the economic boom by being faster on the powergrab : Renowns as a basis, Oldtown + Starry Sept as stabilizors, Sparrows as grinding finishers.

Sparrows + Unexpected Guile is sick when it's put into place.

Varys (DitD) allows to not be contested by opponent's own power generators, and is the reason of the x3 in this build despite being extremely expensive.

The fact that flexible cards are extremely flexible allows The Starry Sept to be placed in x3 in order to stabilize Varys and Sparrows.

The Iron Bank Will Have Its Due is not stellar because you do not aim at making big Shadow turns, but you need a bit of attachment control.

Playing Randyll and aiming at challenge dominance logically ends up with STR bonuses such as Renly's Pavilion and Arbor Queen, even though I am not a super fan of these cards in that build outside of Randyll.

Weaknesses:

1 Miitary claim is problematic, I put a bunch of absorbers + Diplomat Tyrell version of the Midrange Shadow.

Weakness:

  • 1 Military claim is problematic, I put a bunch of absorbers in the deck for that. Adding Colen + Garden Caretaker would be good for regular behavior of the deck, but no slots = no slots.

  • 2 Economy and STR are not -that- dominant. It is slightly inferior to what you should have in Tyrell.

QoT is absent because I almost never trigger her. There is always something coming before. She is too expensive, things being said.
