Deck performed very well.

Round 1 Targ/Banner Kraken - Heads on Spikes pulled Dany and the Targ deck couldn’t really gain traction. Misplays on my part put the game down to a final turn where pushing all in for power was enough to seal it in my favor.

Round 2 Targ/Banner Rose - The closest game of the day for sure. Heads pulled a Dracarys, and then turn 1 pillage from Euron pulled another one. Without the major threat, was able to play aggressively. Targ player didn’t show a single Tyrell card until at least turn 3-4. Power was tied at 13 (I think) going into plot 5. Sneak attack for all out power to win. Misplayed by not pumping my freshly played Balon before challenges. He ate the last Dracarys and died (Dany on board) but still had enough stealth and power to win.

Round 3 Lanni/Stark - Lost this one pretty badly. This is someone from my play group, so knew what to expect, but it’s a good list and hard to deal with if you can’t get WAY ahead quickly. Made poor plot choices (and my plot list is simply unable to handle this deck reliably)

Round 4 - Lannister/ Banner (?) - I can’t remember the banner house this round. Pretty standard Lanni/Banner deck though. Managed to keep up despite having my hand gutted by intrigue. Lucky topdeck of double Arriane when he dropped Game of Thrones meant I could win at least 1 intrigue challenge and fire back. Outlasted until I won with an all out power challenge to steal the win.

Cut to top 8 -

Targ Fealty - Close game for the most part. Pretty standard fealty list from the looks of it. Had a solid setup of Balon + (2) 1 drops, and two 0 cost lands. Sitting on 9 power, I dropped Rise of the Kraken, went first, and fired a power challenge with my entire board. Balon, Euron, Edric + 2-3 others. Stealth from Great Kraken and Edric pushed the challenge unopposed. 2 power for renown, 2 power for claim, 2 power for unopposed, and 1 power for Great Kraken unopposed stole the game with a 7 power challenge.

Top 4 - Repeat of Round 3 against the same player. Game went back and forth for a bit but I couldn’t get any mil challenges through early thanks to the hound and Tywin. Forced to play on the back foot until I eventually just scooped when he had 12+ power to my 4. Lack of character draw after turn 3 killed me here.
