Won two games in a row with this now - all about making sure that you choose your challenges wisely and make sure to get the Wall AND Castle Black into play. Aemon is powerful here but once he has outlived his usefulness don’t be scared of dropping him into wildfire.

The key here is Benjen Stark and making sure that you focus on the Ranger aspect of your deck. This will protect you from the likes of Stealth from all of those Greyjoy characters.

Against Baratheon Castle Black is invaluable for helping you keep more of your character standing.

The addition of Filthy Accusations helps against all decks and can make sure you don’t get hurt by that one character who keeps trying to avoid your characters and force unopposed challenges.

Feast for Crows seems to be working out well as a Plot here too. Forcing your opponent to consider how to stop you winning power means you take their mind off their game plan. Also helpful in combination with The Iron Throne (if you can find it) and The Wall. Castle Black also adds +1 strength to everything Night’s Watch.

Stark drops are there for added support in military and Luwin can give Jon an even deadlier spring in his step if you can get stealth onto him. Only character that potentially hurts you is Arya as she takes one of your cards as a dupe. If that’s Jon, Old Bear etc then you’re screwing yourself a bit.

The Plots afford you a decent amount of gold every turn and Meagre Contribution helps with those odd plays from opponents where they had big plans for a massive character or tidal wave of little ones.

No Wildfire as it’s the Night’s Watch imperative to keep that Wall standing. If they want to Wild Fire, good for them - just make sure to have some characters as back-up.
