Based on a deck I played in 2018, this has been good over the last nine months. It was undefeated in Latvian Nationals, did not suck in Stahleck, and lost in Faith's final game to Starks.

The Mad King is an emergency reset for when an opponent has many small-cost characters or a very location-heavy deck. You don't have many cards at hand as reserve is low, no cards go to shadows, and you need Starfall + 2 econ location to play most chars. I don't think I used it in Faiths at all. The general plotline is Maiden, Retaliation, Marched/Dohaeris, YWOYD. |
